The Capital of Liberia is Monrovia.  Liberia has a GDP per Capita of $700.  President Johnson-Sirleaf faces a major task of re-building the country.  It is a difficult task, but not impossible.

Note: Former President Charles Taylor now sit quietly in Jail awaiting his faith.  Charles Taylor was arrested in Nigeria and is being put on trial for war crimes.  It was a shock in Monrovia when the once feared leader arrived.
